On 22nd February 2015 the Brian Epstein plaque was fixed into place at 4 Rodney Street and it was a proud day for all of us involved. There was a wonderful ceremony with many Beatles fans and friends present for the unveilling of the plaque and speeches from Marie Darwin, the Beatles Tourguide who spearheaded the campaign and Jenni Crowley and VIv Jones former members of the Apple team that worked for Brian in the 1960s in London who enthusiatically accepted Beatles LIverpool and More's invitation to unveil the plaque. The plaque was designed and made by FRED O'BRIEN is now firmly fixed to 4 Rodney Street, for all fans, tourist and the people of Liverpool to see with a photograph donated by the Epstein family. |
