Beatles Liverpool and More was launched in 2007
With a career working in the Liverpool Archives department behind him and having a keen interest in the Beatles, and Liverpool. Kevin Roach started his first project, researching the family history of Paul and Mike McCartney. The project grew and it wasn't long before the two McCartney brothers were on board and backing the publication of Kevin's project as a book, and in 2009 'The McCartneys - In The Town Where They Were Born' was released, a family history book with personal photographs supplied by the family and the stories of the generations that came before the famous musical brothers.
The release was subject to the World's Media with the inclusive of a never before seen essay that Paul had written in 1953 aged 10 in honour of the coronation at Queen Elizabeth II, his earliest known creative work.

Many had covered this event but they have never seen the actual essay, until Kevin, whilst tralling through the archives, discovered the original handwritten essay, and the archive newscuttings.
When told by Kevin of the discovery of his old essay, Paul was surprised stating that he had, "thought it had been destroyed years ago!" The original essay was eventually presented to Paul McCartney on BBC's The One Show. |
Today, Kevin and the team, are working on a number of projects, researching on behalf of many companies and individuals as well as still working on a few projects of their own. In 2014 they launched a publishing branch of the company to help others share their projects and in 2017 Kevin also took on the role of Chairman of Penny Lane Development Trust.
