The Anniversary of VE Day, Victory in Europe, and the end of the WWII.

Liverpool was hit hard during the war years. With the Blitz in Liverpool, men of fighting in Europe, woman working and children evacuated from their homes it was a tough time.

But through it all Liverpool was a city united and we owe everything we have today to those brave ordinary people.
